CTP Transport is an intermodal trucking company servicing all of California. Our company focuses
on ocean container shipments between the Port of Oakland and California's Central Valley region.
We have interchange agreements with all of the major steamship lines and railroads.

Our main terminal is located in Manteca, which is approximately 70 miles east of the Port of Oakland.
We are conveniently located in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley, home to over 25% of the United
States' agricultural production.

CTP Transport was founded by Cory T. Peters, a fourth generation trucking
company executive. His great-grandfather, Ted, started the company in 1920 in
the small dairy town of Gustine, CA. When containerized cargo was introduced
to the West Coast in the late 1950's, Ted's son Ted, Jr. saw an opportunity.
The first vessel to leave the San Francisco Bay with containers on-deck was
Maston's S.S. Hawaiian Merchant. On deck were 20 containers, 6 of which
were delivered from a Gustine creamery via Ted Peters Trucking.

Over the years, Ted Peters Trucking became one of the most reliable and
respected container trucking firms in the state. Under the direction of Ted Jr's
son Gary, the fleet grew to the largest in Northern California hauling
containers. In 1999, the company merged with another Northern California
firm. Within a couple years, the Peters family sold its ownership and moved
on. Shortly thereafter, CTP Transport was established.

With the knowledge gained from generations of experience, CTP Transport
has now become the premier container trucking firm in Northern California.

advanced trucks on the road, state of the art technology, experienced and
professional employees.
